Currently, we are seeking an Analyst, Application for a Direct Hire in Goleta CA. Principal Responsibilities Percentage Of Time Resolves problems related to assigned application(s) by monitoring production systems for irregularities in availability, performance and stability and proposing improvements. Troubleshoots production incidents, problems, and collaborates with other internal staff and vendors on the resolution. 30 Prioritizes the completion of tasks and resolution of issues to ensure compliance to project deliverables. Supports project management activities by providing input on the forecasting of required time and effort. Provides production support, including problem analysis and resolution by collaborating with various groups (customers, help desk, technical infrastructure) to identify and resolve applications issues. Ensures data integrity and service level criteria are met. 30 Analyzes business requirements and develops designs for applications and related programs. Designs and implements modifications to existing applications by changing systems requirements. Develops system proposals, documenting detailed specifications, budget and timeframes into computer program instructions. Develops and executes tests including unit, system and user acceptance. 20 Performs departmental administrative tasks related to system performance, quality, documentation standards and maintenance. Coordinates maintenance of all software and hardware components within the application configuration, including patches and upgrades. Reviews and approves documentation for the system(s) and communicates any procedural changes to appropriate staff. Derives, compiles and uses data in all phases of report processing and ensures accurate and timely reporting.
